Last November, hundreds of Occidental College students flooded into the main administration building

during a demonstration over allegations of racism and inequality on campus. After several days

of protesting Occidental College's handling of diversity issues, students occupied the building.

NLG-LA Files Federal Lawsuit on Behalf of Street Vendors

On Wednesday, October 28th, street vendors from MacArthur Park and the Downtown Fashion District filed a lawsuit against the LAPD and Fashion District Business Improvement District (BID) for illegally seizing and destroying vendors’ carts, dollies, and other personal belongings.
