Arrestee Informational Session

Informational session on Nov. 21, 6-7pm at the ACLU Building 1313 W. 8th St., Los Angeles, for those arrested during the recent political protests.  Due to room capacity and building security requirements, only those who RSVP can attend, and will be limited to those who have been arrested (excepting juvenile arrestees, who may bring a guardian.)  We will be discussing the different types of charges, what you can expect during the criminal process, access to private attorneys and public defenders, etc.

Special Session for Guild Members: the Guild in a Trump Era

The Executive Board of the NLG-LA invites the general membership to join a special session to discuss the vision and goals for the Guild in the coming Trump Presidency, outreach to other groups and impacted communities, as well as developing concrete action items for the membership, board, and staff.

The event will be held at Southwestern School of Law near downtown Los Angeles.  Building and room TBA.

We will be having a committee meeting next Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 6:00pm in the smaller conference room of the UCLA Labor Center. Elizabeth Blaney from Union de Vecinos and the Los Angeles Tenants Union will be there to discuss the anti-harassment ordinance.

The Workers' Rights Committee of the NLG invites you to an evening of socializing and education regarding the Labor Detail.
